Come to Jesus - Final Part

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

As leaders, we know that there is nothing more refreshing than coming to Jesus when we are tired and overwhelmed, knowing that He gives us relief. When Jesus said, "Come to Me!" He was not speaking to the religious, but to those in need of a new life, just like you and me.

When we are consolidated by Jesus, we have joy in consolidating those whom He entrusts to us, solely by His mercy and love. And when we consolidate a person, they become more secure in the Kingdom and take pleasure in serving the King.

If CONSOLIDATION did not establish the person in the Kingdom, the process was human, not divine. Because when we present Jesus, the bread, the water, the clothes, the home, the fame, the history of man, everything is left behind and only HE is our greatest importance.

CONSOLIDATION is an opportunity to show God's love to the lost and to minister comfort to the hearts of the afflicted. CONSOLIDATION is the most effective tool for a person to feel like they belong and to change their life completely.

WHO HERE WOULD SAY NO TO JESUS?

  • Only those who do not want to be cared for, do not want to be freed, do not want to be healed, do not want to be restored. Yes, because being in a Church, Ministry Network, 12-Team, and a Cell, does not mean you are healed. It is possible to be in healing environments and still be sick.

JESUS SURPASSES ANY THERAPIST

Human psychology circumvents problems, Jesus' psychotheology solves problems. No one understands problems more than Jesus, and no one has more solutions than Him. Why? Because Jesus:

  • Invites and gives direction

  • Invites and gives instructions

  • Invites and gives life solutions

  • Invites and transforms the individual completely

Jesus would never invite you if He did not have the solution to your needs. That's why He makes a bold invitation: "Come to ME, all who are weary and burdened."

Is there a greater CONSOLIDATOR? Of course not! Jesus is an assertive solution! He says, "I will give you rest." What does this mean? To take the pressure off a crowd with much power released. To take the affliction of a people having liberating power. To take the oppression from people being a Leader who understands behavior.

No one has more authority to consolidate than Jesus, for the plan is His, and in Him is all sufficiency.

"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily." (Colossians 2:6-9)

Jesus desires to consolidate, but He will not give beyond the steps He has already taken. That's why He says, "COME TO ME!" Will you allow yourself to be CONSOLIDATED by HIM?
